Evening Exploration

From May-September experience the free Nightly Indian Dances at Courthouse Square, and then head on down to the El Rancho Hotel and visit a scene in film history, the hotel where old western stars such as Kirk Douglas Ronald Reagan stayed.  The El Rancho features a stunning historic lodge style lobby, a restaurant and the old 49er bar.  If you’re a sports fan, stop by Sammy C’s Rockin’ Sports Pub & Grille for the largest collection of sports memorabilia in western New Mexico and one of CNN's Top 100 Sports Bar & Pubs in 2012.  The historic El Morro Theatre, built in 1928 in the Spanish Colonial Baroque style, is the perfect place to relax for a movie or event. Movies and events at the El Morro Theatre begin at 6:00 pm on weeknights or have multiple times on the weekends. Children 12 and under are free for films at the El Morro as long as an adult is present. If you're looking for some family fun in the evening visit Pizza 9's Indoor Neon Mini-Golf at the Rio West Mall.
